How much are dues ?

Full Membership: $190.00 per year.
This membership makes a player eligible for all matches, but players must also be CIPP registered to play.

Rookie Membership: $100.00 per year.
Same benefits as above, but players must also be CIPP registered to play. Only players new to the sport of rugby are eligible for this rate.

Social Memebership: $100.00 per year.
Person is a member of the club with all privileges and immunities pertaining thereto, except playing rugby.

How do I pay my dues ?

You have several options:

The best way is to give a check or cash to the club Treasurer, or the Dues Officer.
You can pay online with a credit card using PayPal.
You can mail a check to the club post office box.
There may be occasional opportunities to participate in fundraisers where part of the money you raise is applied towards your dues.

All checks should be made out to "Huns Rugby".

What does my dues money pay for ?

Player dues pay for nearly every everything required for the club to compete, including but not limited to the following:

Individual and club CIPP dues paid to USA Rugby, the Western RFU, and the Texas Rugby Union
Referee expenses
Field rental for home games
Field improvements and maintenance - such as lights, sprinklers, fertilizer, mowing
Electric bill for practice lights
Rugby balls, jerseys, tees, tackle bags, goal post pads, etc.
Field preparation supplies such as chalk, paint, flags, crowd barriers, and tents
Food and beverages after each home game (approximately $150-200)
Liability insurance
Hosting expenses for this web site
Coaching
Other means of developing amateur athletes for national and international competition

A few things player dues do NOT pay for are:

Officers' salaries — all officers are volunteers.
Player salaries — the Huns are a strictly amateur club

CIPP stands for "Club and Individual Participation Program." This national registration program is the mechanism USA Rugby uses to fund the development and administration of the sport. All players, coaches, referees, and clubs are required to pay CIPP registration fees to the national governing body (USA Rugby) as well as additional dues to the territorial (Western RFU) and local (Texas Rugby Union) unions. For most players this totals $60.00 per year.

What if I can't (or don't) pay my dues ?

If you aren't a member in good standing, meaning your dues aren't current, then you aren't eligible to play on Saturday.

If you have a problem paying dues, please speak to either the Treasurer or Dues Officer about your situation. They currently are of similar minds about most everything, though.

Where do I find this PayPal thing ?

Ask and ye shall receive. When you make the payment, leave some indication in the notes field who you are if your Paypal email address is something dorky like "darkwolf_revenge@yahoo.com," as we have not yet mapped Huns names to the names of the favorite Dungeons and Dragons characters they've created.

	Total payment for returning Huns (includes dues and CIPP) - $250
	Rookie and Social Dues (does not include CIPP) - $100
	A Random Payment - $70
